Robert McKenna

Managing Director / Contracts Manager / Med Gases AP

Multi-skilled and with a wealth of experience in the healthcare engineering and construction sector, I look to bring together a mix of technical knowledge and practical solutions to help promote MedProGas as a company that maintains a ‘pro-active’ attitude to finding solutions to meet and exceed Client demands. This principle is applied to everything that we do in MedProGas. We listen to our customers needs and requirements and provide help, advice and guidance where needed.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our installation works from the start to finish and commissioning of projects in all instances. We try to continually improve our installation processes and if nothing else, learn from our experiences, project to project.  We value the importance of teamwork and partnership with client and contractors alike on all projects, irrespective of project size or works duration.

I have been personally involved in taking numerous projects from Client Brief / initial concept through to design, installation and final commissioning. I have actively managed a diverse number of projects ranging from Healthcare to Pharma, Industrial and Educational Sectors.

Aside from my primary business degree, I upskilled to an MBS in Strategic Management back in 2002. I am skilled in Project Estimating, Project Planning, Procurement, Project Coordination, and Contract Management.

Most recently our company has met the challenges of Covid 19 head on and we have provided invaluable assistance to the HSE and our Healthcare Partners. I’m very proud to be part of the Team and proud of the level of commitment by all involved during this difficult time.

As part of my downtime outside of normal family commitments, as I live by the coast, I like to get away from the hustle and bustle in my kayak and go for the odd swim in the open seas. It definitely helps you unwind.
